Recently I have been doing an internship at Rice University. I have been an intern for a professor teaching an MBA class on Fintechs and financial disruption. In the class topics such as crypto, banking, blockchain, and online banking systems were covered. The class was only on 3 separate days, which I attended, participated in, and took notes on. Since the class was only for a short period of time and I really enjoyed it, I asked if I could continue this internship into 2022. My internship supervisor agreed and we will be working on the presentation for his class in March of 2022. We will meet every two weeks for an hour, at a time that works for both of our schedules. During this hour my supervisor will teach me part of the curriculum for his upcoming class, as well as anything else I am interested in regarding finance and business. Then for homework, I will prepare slides based on what I have learned for him to use in his next class. This way I will get to learn a lot more about finance and business, while also helping my supervisor will the preparation for his upcoming class.
