Today I started doing off-season volleyball practice. I decided to sign up because I have been interested in starting to play volleyball and this would be a good chance for me to learn some of the basics and improve my skill. Today we worked on passing to each other. We also worked on setting the volleyball. For these two activities, we worked in pairs. I had some prior experience with passing, however setting was quite new to me so it was challenging. Getting into the right form and hitting the ball in the correct way was a little challenging. However, I do think I have kind of gotten the hang of it. We then worked on running up, jumping, then hitting the ball. The first hit I did was pretty good (beginners luck I suppose), but my other attempts weren't as successful, but it was good practice anyway. Afterward, we played Queen of the court and I think I actually performed pretty well on this. I was able to pass and return the ball and I was pretty proud of myself. From today'...
